The Casca Creation Process
Creating a Casca table is a very complex creation process. Every steps needs to be carefully executed to attain a luxury dining table which is both breathtaking as truly unique. In order to understand why no two tables will be alike, we will take you trough each step of the process so you can get a grasp on how the most luxurious item in our assortment comes to life.
1. A Needle in a Cork Stack
As we will be working with pure pieces of cork bark, our first challenge is to identify the perfect specimens for us to work with. We are looking for those pieces that have the right texture and colour, and no cracks or other defects.
2. A Natural Puzzle
Before the craftsman picks up a single tool, he will first envision which piece will go where exactly in the table top so to create the most beautiful result. As cork bark is still a natural material, every piece will always have its own unique shade and texture. Yet, that also means that with the same pieces you could create countless different combination. Hence this is a crucial step.
3. Handcrafted Perfection
Once the puzzle has been made, the pieces now must be put together. This is a very meticulous job which can only be done by hand. Next, the plate of raw material is sculpted down to create a smooth and soft surface, whilst still retaining those beautiful natural crevices.
4. A pedestal to match
The metal base that supports the beautiful cork top is also made from the finest materials. The highest quality steel is crafted into a flawless structure, after which it is coated with electrostatic paint. Such paint does not only lead to far superior protection and finishing, it is in fact also less harmful for the environment as traditional metal paints.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY LUXURY DINING TABLE?
Dust regularly with a soft and dry cloth and in case any spills happen, make sure you wipe them up immediately. Do not use abrasive products and avoid cleaning with extensive water.
WILL THE CASCA TABLE REQUIRE ANY ASSEMBLY?

CAN YOU INSTALL THE TABLE IN MY HOME?

WILL THE TABLE TOP NOT CRUMBLE?
Our crafstmen take the utmost care in first selecting the very best pieces of cork, before carefully crafting them together to a breathtaking table top. The whole is very strong and robust, and can widstand daily usage without any problem. We do recommend to be cautious with any sharp objects, as these can scratch or cut the material.
HOW LONG WILL PRODUCTION TAKE?
In light of the lengthy production process the timings can take up to 6 weeks. Moreover, as we can only accommodate a few items per quarter, it is possible that our order book is already full. If so, this will be displayed at the top of this page, yet you can always reach out to us if you wish to know our earliest possible production.
CAN MY CASCA TABLE SLIGHTLY VARY FROM THE PICTURES?
Yes it can. As explained in the production process above, the pure cork pieces are a natural material and will have their own unique texture and shade.
DO YOU ALSO HAVE A MATCHING CHAIR OR BENCH?
Yes, we do also offer a matching Casca bench. These beautifully carved design truly completes the luxury dining table, without being to overwhelming. Also feel free to play with a combination of a bench on one side, whilst adding chairs on the other.

The process of making a Casca collection item can be best described as a creation of a masterpiece. To shape the beautiful and elegant table top, the perfect pieces of raw natural cork must be carefully selected and puzzled together by hand. This is a meticulous and lengthy process, yet the breath-taking result is well worth the wait.

Does it say “out of stock” at the top of this page? We are terribly sorry, but seeing the lengthy production process we can only commit to a few luxury dining tables every quarter.
