show more Central to the design of this large industrial dining table is the cork table top. We chose this unusual material because of its specific characteristics. It is soft and warm, yet tough and resistant. It absorbs sound and heat whilst being waterproof and having anti-static and anti-allergic properties. Finally and very important to us at Urban Design Fox, although it has a natural character, it is in fact harvested in a renewable way, hence being more sustainable. The result is this stylish yet very distinctive industrial dining table that will bring a new vibe to your living room. This large dining table can comfortably host 6 to 8 people, yet thanks to its minimalistic design will not overwhelm in your living room. Our unique Duradoura collection is made possible thanks to the expertise of local craftsmen in Portugal. We only use the finest cork which comes from the cork oak forests in the south of Portugal (home to 736.000 hectares), where it is harvested by hand in a renewable way (without harming the tree itself). Portuguese craftsmen then use their years of experience to turn this raw material into the bespoke and high quality dining table tops that define these unique designs.
